Brad&Boti: Deck the Halls, it's upset time

BRAD&BOTI: It's the Holiday Season and media commentator Brad Rosen and I are feeling chirpy and excited about where the WNBL and NBL are both heading. The NBL is wide open now but in the WNBL, it does appear Bendigo's title to lose, with Perth maybe the only team that can influence that.

Does Southside have a run in it or is that contingent on everyone being healthy? Are Townsville and Sydney the teams to join the Spirit and Lynx in the playoffs?

Have Adelaide Lightning's finals hopes been dashed by the loss to injury of key playmaking import Japreece Dean?

They looked contenders with her, pretenders without, and broken fingers don't heal overnight.

Canberra and Geelong look likely to fill spoiler roles with their showdown this weekend likely determining which will claim the keys to the whine cellar.

Meanwhile, is it time to start worrying about Illawarra and Melbourne who have led the NBL for the bulk of the season?

Hear our analysis as we differ on our Top Six.

Why do the Kings need their new import guard (Lamonte Turner) and how best to describe the late-game meltdowns by Illawarra (v South East Melbourne AND Cairns) and the Phoenix's folly in the finish to Sydney?

Is this version of Adelaide 36ers for real or should we still reserve judgment a bit longer?

There's a lot of ground to cover before we even get to the Rosen Rattler and, in keeping with the post-Christmas spirit, Nagy Nicey.
