FLASHBACK 35: January 12, 1967

*FLASHBACKS, my irregular "lucky dip" where I just reach into my drawers of old Australian basketball stuff and transcribe whatever I find for you.

IN South Australia during the 1960s and into the 1970s, State League (or District games as they then were called) were accompanied each night by a free program at the door, the "yellow sheet". I put one up last week from 1975 and had such a generous reaction to it across social media that I dug back a little further to January 12, 1967 - the first one for that year and halfway through the District summer season - for this week. Here it is, in all its infinite original (and with its typing errors etcetera) glory. But let me tell you, on game night, the "yellow sheet" was the most sought and prized possession at Forestville Stadium, and later Apollo.
