Four-state finals to conclude SEABL

IT'S the SEABL's big weekend coming up, with Mount Gambier and Nunawading battling out the men's final on Sunday after Hobart and Brisbane determine the women's champion.

Teams from four states fighting it out only serves to reinforce the league's status as the premier interstate winter competition in Australia.

A year ago in the men, it took a Ben Allen triple to win the South Conference championship for Mount Gambier and the Pioneers' "Mr Clutch" did it again last week with a three to pip Kilsyth for back-to-back national grand finals.

Nunawading will have its work cut out but has been in blistering form.

The women's final, also at Dandenong Stadium, brings the north (Brisbane) and south (Hobart) together for what also should be a thriller: http://www.seabl.com.au/index.php?id=257&tx_ttnews[tt_news]=9972&cHash=e13672eaf3

Tomorrow night is the league's "night of nights", with its awards presentation down at the Docklands.

MOUNT Gambier supporters! The club is offering its fans the chance to travel to Dandenong for the SEABL Grand Final.

The club's supporters' bus departs on Sunday at 7:30am from the Icehouse, returning after the game.

Cost is $65 per person which includes a bus seat and game ticket.

For those travelling to Dandenong for the game under their own steam, Grand Final tickets are being managed by the Pioneers and are available by contacting the club.
