And you know I mean that in the best possible way.

Hustled back into the lineup of the NBA champion Golden State Warriors for Game 4 of the Western Conference semi final against the Blazers in Portland, he put on a memorable show scoring an overtime record 17 points.

About to collect his second league MVP award, Curry finished with 40 points in his first game back from a sprained right knee injury.

Tipped to be nursed through about 25 minutes and coming off the bench, his time ballooned to 36:34 when Shaun Livingston fell foul of the officiating with two technical fouls.

Instead, Curry led the Warriors to a 132-125 overtime victory as his teammates revelled in his return and remarkable scoring ability.

Rusty initially, he was huge when it mattered as GSW took a 3-1 lead with the next game at Oakland.

Meanwhile in the East, Miami levelled its semi final with Toronto at 2-2 when Dwyane Wade exploded for 30 points, including the layup which sent the match into overtime where the Heat prevailed 94-87.
