Brad&Boti: We finalised our NBL Top 6, and more
TweetBRAD&BOTI: Sydney media man and former Kings captain Brad Rosen has some very distinct views on how the NBL Top Six will now shape up and we have narrowed down the fight for the four in the WNBL to a couple of longtime champion clubs.
Not sure why this episode is out so late this week but it is once again jam-packed with WNBL and NBL news and views as bothg seasons narrow toward their pointy ends.
The run home in the women strongly suggests it will be Sydney or Canberra joining Bendigo, Perth and Townsville in the finals, although neither would be expected to enjoy any sort of extended stay against any of the big three.
If Canberra is going to make a finals run, it starts with beating Southside this round.
Who was our WNBL Player of the Round? We seem to be split on this ... but not really!
Switching to the NBL and we talk about Ian Hummer's brain fade for Tasmania against the Kings ... but was it really or was there some game and shot-clock shenanigans?
The way the JackJumpers rallied around him said everything about the culture Scott Roth has developed on the island. The injuries to Will Magnay, Sean MacDonald and now Majok Deng make it virtually impossible now for the Jackies to stave off Adelaide's run at the final spot in the top six.
The final order of that six? It is too volatile to predict.
Be prepared to also be surprised by our Plays and/or Players of the Round. And there's also a Rosen Rattler and a Nagy Nasty to take us out.
