Lightning mining for diamonds

ADELAIDE Lightning have cast their net wide looking for potential WNBL players with a trial at Titanium Security Arena next Sunday.

Since the announcement of the MAC naming rights sponsorship and appointment of Tracy York as coach, the iconic WNBL outfit now is searching for unearthed diamonds and diamonds-in-the-rough to underpin its 2015-16 assault.

So here's your chance!

The trial will run from 5–7pm at the former Adelaide Arena, 44a Crittenden Road, Findon SA, entry via the administration area in the venue’s north-east corner.

To be accepted to compete at the trial, a player should at the very least be playing at Division 1 State level (Premier League in SA, Big V, Waratah, QBL etcetera) and have played at a national junior championship for their state.

Potential triallists first must register by email at adelaidelightning@basketballsa.com.au  including full name, current address and recent basketball history.

This is your chance if you ever thought you had what it takes to play at elite level.

Any further questions or queries also should be addressed to adelaidelightning@basketballsa.com.au
