More good news brewing
TweetMELBOURNE United have been busy little beavers in their quest to give rookie NBL head coach Dean Demopoulos a contender in his first year, Ronnie Brewer’s name now in the mix.
We know United had a crack at Townsville and league MVP Brian Conklin – and why wouldn’t you? - Diamon Simpson created some interest and now Brewer is causing a buzz.
It’s easy to see why too.
Selected at 14 by Utah Jazz in the NBA’s 2006 draft, the 201cm 30-year-old also has had playing stints at Memphis, Chicago, New York, Oklahoma and Houston, logging 549 NBA games.
That’s around 150 more than Josh Childress and we all know what an impact JChillin has had.
Brewer (above) would be a huge pick-up and another great boost for a league-in-revival.
