See Lightning, Lizzie for free!

THE MAC Adelaide Lightning have their one FOXSPORTS Live home TV game on Saturday, bringing WNBL superstar Liz Cambage to the Lighthouse for the first time. And you can see all the action for FREE!

No, you don't even have to answer a question, win a prize, wear club colours - nothing! Just arrive at the door and you will have instant access to one of the biggest WNBL matches of the season.

Cambage, the first and still the ONLY woman to dunk at an Olympic Games, had a full-on "Cambage Rampage" with 44 points when her Melbourne Boomers hung on to beat Lightning 77-74 at the State Basketball Centre in Wantirna last month.

She hit 18-of-23 shots for 78 per cent, with 12 rebounds to be the one obstacle Adelaide could not overcome.

BUSY LIZZIE: Liz Cambage helped Melbourne to a big win over Canberra with 38 points.

But overcoming obstacles has been a trait of the Lightning this season, twice trounced by Townsville but hitting Far North Queensland yesterday and producing a magnificent "against-all-odds" 79-64 upset!

The last time Adelaide faced the Fire in Townsville it lost by 42! Talk about an improvement!

This match is huge in the context of the regular season as Perth, Townsville, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Dandenong remain entrenched in the hunt for Final Four playoff berths.

A super-defensive effort which kept the Fire to 25 second-half points to Adelaide's 39 meant Lightning remain very much in the race.

Natalie Novosel with 21 points, Nicole Seekamp 14, and 12s apiece to Lauren Nicholson and Colleen Planeta led Adelaide to the light, Ruth Hamblin with a 10-point, 9-rebound return in a superlative team performance.

Now here come the Boomers, with Olympian Jenna O'Hea plus national players at various levels such as Maddie Garrick, Monique Conti and Kalani Purcell, not to mention Opals-in-waiting such as Bec Cole and Louella Tomlinson.

This should be one of the regular season fixtures of the year and you will see it for

as Lightning endeavour to pull the season's biggest stand-alone crowd to the Lighthouse, a.k.a. Titanium Security Arena.

"We're hoping for our best crowd of the year," four-time Olympian Laura Hodges said.

Daffodil pins will be on sale at the game and all money raised will go towards Cancer Council SA to help fund vital research programs, advocacy and prevention services, while enabling support services such as Cancer Council 131120.

A great game, a great cause - this is the one to see in 2017.

Tip-off is 2.30pm.
