TFerg now officially with OKC

ADELAIDE 36ers' "one-and-done" 2016-17 import Terrance Ferguson, additionally trained for the NBA by the Dream Academy, now has signed with Oklahoma City Thunder according to latest US reports.

Taken in the first-round of the 2017 draft after a year of NBL "seasoning" with the 36ers, Ferguson, 19 and 201cm, reportedly agreed to a four-year deal with the club today.

He is expected to earn $US1,487,000 in his rookie year but is earmarked to spend at least a portion of the season in the G-League (formerly the D-League) with Oklahoma City Blue.

Complications with his international clearance back to the US through FIBA forced him to miss the Orlando Summer League.

Taken at #21 by OKC, Ferguson was the last first-round pick to agree to a rookie deal.

His clearance was confirmed by The Oklahoman today. There is no indication he might be traded but the franchise has 30 days to make that call.

"We've all just become OKC fans," Adelaide 36ers chief executive Guy Hedderwick said when Ferguson was drafted by the Thunder.
