CHAMPIONS League Basketball has revealed its exciting new calendar, featuring 25 major 3X3 events and a National Final coming to an iconic Melbourne location.

CLB3X3's national final will be contested over the Labour Day weekend in March next year.

Favourite and highly-successful events will return to Canberra, Darwin, Melbourne, Sydney, Port Adelaide, Brisbane, Sunshine Coast, Port Macquarie and Tasmania.

But CLB has new events scheduled as well for locations such as Gosford in NSW, Mandurah in WA, Logan in Queensland, Cobram, Wagga Wagga and Goolwa in South Australia's picturesque Fleurieu Peninsula.

CLB3X3 is in discussions with FIBA in Geneva for spots for the winner and runner-up of the National Final in an overseas challenger event.

The CLB PLAY3X3 in Brisbane steadily is gaining traction, with the weekly pickup games building numbers. The official four-week competition which started last Tuesday and Thursday has $2,500 in prizemoney up for grabs, every registered player receiving their own official CLB3X3 jersey.

CLB also has secured three-year deals with most of the councils with which it is partnering and has local government support for 80 percent of events currently on the schedule.
