B&B: 'Gibbo' joins us to review 2021

AS the tremendously challenging year that has been 2021 draws to its steady conclusion, London Olympian and multiple NBL champion Adam Gibson joins Brad Rosen and myself for our final Brad&Boti podcast, reviewing the highs and the lows of another memorable 12 months in a game constantly stalked by the coronavirous.

And when I say it's our "final Brad&Boti podcast", I only mean for 2021 so those of you that were worried, rest assured we'll be back with more of our views on the NBL and WNBL in 2022.

And those of you who were thrilled to think we finally were done, well, sorry, but, you know, we're still enjoying ourselves!

And we especially did with this podcast, joined as we were by special guest Adam "Gibbo" Gibson.

We found out first what he is doing now after some 16 years in the league as a player and what his plans may be.

He also took us for an insider look as a former player at what life is like dealing with the daily uncertainties of COVID and what it can mean at any given time.

Is it time for the NBL to again consider a hub?

Then we got down to the really good stuff, our look back at the highs and lows of 2021, conceding - as would most every basketball fan in the land - that the Boomers collecting a Bronze Medal at the Tokyo Olympic Games was our major highlight.

But we broke that down into smaller parts , also reviewed our Worst Moment of 2021, debated the Biggest New Star to emerge and the Biggest Disappointment of the Year.

You'll love Gibbo's take on that last one. We sure did.

To hear that and everything else we discussed and debated, just click on this link, or head to Spotify or Apple Podcasts and settle back for a half hour of three basketball junkies reminiscing.
