Brad&Boti: LJ calls it a day, WNBL back, NBL hot

BRAD Rosen and I had a bucketload of basketball to unpack in this week's Brad&Boti podcast, what with the Opals qualifying for the Paris Olympics, Lauren Jackson retiring from international play, the WNBL back in business and the NBL drawing to a thrilling conclusion.

It is a crying shame the 42-year-old G.O.A.T. of Australian basketball has decided not to continue on through to the Games but there are more important factors in her highly successful career. (Though I still hold out hope Basketball Australia can devise a solution.

A solution to what?) Well you best tune in because Brad and I have a lot to say on that before we turn our attention to the WNBL's resumption this week.

And that penultimate round is a biggie for the fortunes of Melbourne and Bendigo in particular. Why?

Again, tune in to find out!

And what about this finish to the NBL regular season? Can Mahmoud Abdelfattah get everyone listening to him or will the Kings suffer the same ignominious fate as the last time they under-estimated South East Melbourne?

Has Adam Forde lost the players in Cairns, or just import Tahjere McCall? (And therefore also maybe his buddy, Patrick "Hey!" Miller.) The end of this regular season cannot come soon enough for the Taipans.

Will Perth lose twice on the road this round and will Melbourne rest key men in its last match against Illawarra?

So much to weigh up and consider, not to mention our Players of the Round, Best Moments and a happy Rosen Rattler. And even an unhappy (that's rare!) Nagy Nasty.

It's all accessible right now at this link. Just click and collect some prize pontifications.

OR, go to Apple Podcasts or Spotify if you prefer. But then, it is all right here at this link.
