Brad&Boti: Crying in Commentary

ROUND 4 of the NBL certainly had its highs - and lows - with the 36ers in particular doing a "Jekyll and Hyde" routine while Tasmania continued to show its class. Brad Rosen and I watched it all and have our report for you at this week's Brad&Boti podcast.

You know, sometimes I wonder whether today's younger listeners even know what the "Jekyll and Hyde" reference means. If you do, I'm Dr Jekyll and Brad is Mr Hyde.

We talk about the round in detail, how Illawarra could not sustain against the consistency of United and where to next for Brisbane? A 23-point loss to South East Melbourne hardly fills with joy.

And there's no joy out west where the Perth Wildcats are looking decidedly off, Bryce Cotton a frustrated man but coach John Rillie apparently happy with his personnel.

What now for Xavier Cooks and Jack White, recently cut by their NBA franchises?

Would they make huge differences to potential NBL teams or are the systems being run by some of them the real problem?

We're not worried about the NZ Breakers but expect them to start moving upwards soon, provided William McDowell-White and Parker Jackson-Cartwright can co-exist as guys who need the ball?

Is it even possible for two players with hyphenated names to co-exist?

Brad is hot for the JackJumpers and coach Scott Roth after watching them dismantle Sydney for the second time.

Are they everyone's second team? No. They are my #1.

We have time to give you our best moments of the round, a Rosen Rattler and a Nagy Nasty, plus a new feature, our Player of the Round.

Not necessarily the best player but someone whose performance stood out to us for some reason.

All this and more is now available at Spotify or by clicking this link. Too easy.
