Brad&Boti: Round and Round we Went

YES, NBL Round 3 was a goodie in terms of some of the results it threw up but some of the games were a bit of a throw-up too and not necessarily of the high standard we have come to expect nor led to believe will be the norm. That’s where Brad Rosen remains the voice of reason and me the noise of treason.

We suspect that differentiates our weekly Brad&Boti podcast from the rest and this round’s is no exception.

Have the 36ers turned the corner, for example? Smacking the worst team in the league in Illawarra is hardly cause for contemplating playoff tickets. But Trentyn Flowers sure was fun to watch. And so was Trey Kell for that matter.

What do we make of Perth? The Wildcats started the season looking so very promising but now they’re back to the run-and-gun gym-rat style of play which very much does not suit superstar Bryce Cotton. The work he has to do to get open for a shot borders on the ridiculous. Run some stuff for him.

Is Brisbane going to be able to reverse its slide? Does rookie coach Justin Schueller have the experience to know how to drag them from the mire they threaten to tumble into? Or is that where D-Mac’s authority slips in?

There’s another tough round coming up and we have our tips while also lauding the fact Melbourne and Sydney have been first in line to find their new identities.

How about that Jonah Bolden?

There’s time for us to pick our favourite moments of the round and also drop in a Rosen Rattler and a Nagy Nasty to keep everyone on their toes.

Go to our Twitter page for access to the pod or hit up Apple Podcasts. They love us there. (Or click this link.)
