Brad&Boti: Josh Roberts, upsets and poor scheduling

OUR guest of honour on this week's Brad&Boti podcast with Brad Rosen and myself needed no introduction ... because she was a no-show! But we had so much to discuss coming out of the WNBL and NBL rounds - upsets, overtime, it was all happening.

We're talking Players of the Round, Moments of the Round and the matches themselves, including overtime in the WNBL and upsets in both competitions.

Perth Lynx beating previously undefeated Melbourne Boomers, and by double-digits, was a huge result, with round two of that liaison taking place this week in the West.

Spurred by the Adelaide 36ers "rough scheduling" last round, we discuss the vagaries of scheduling and the difficulties of waking early for a flight, especially when you forgot to take your teddy bear on the trip.

Rough nights, rough mornings, the poor little fellas. That probably completely explains two absolutely pathetic road performances by the Sixers against New Zealand and Tasmania.

We recorded before the axe fell on Adelaide coach CJ Bruton but the writing was well and truly on the wall. And we not talking Departures and Arrivals here.

The refs took the "zero tolerance" edict on board with Mody Maor thrown out at halftime of the NZ-Adelaide game and we get into whether it was right or wrong.

We talk Cairns beating United and also Brisbane still being shakey in the endgame and just getting out of jail against the Taipans and Hawks. Thank goodness for Isaac White!

What about Josh Roberts? Did Adam Forde deliberately keep him stashed on his bench? How good was he? And how big are the matches in this week's round?

We also hit on a Rosen Rattler and a Nagy Nasty (extended cut) to keep you wondering and, hopefully, weighing up our ideas.

All this and so much more awaits you at this link, click it and you're on your way. Or, if you have shares in Apple Podcasts, go there. They're very fond of us too.
