FLASHBACK 99a: NWBL, WBC 1986

YESTERDAY we revisited an NBL event from 1982 which apparently never happened.
Today we jump four years ahead to 1986 to a joint NWBL and WBC Finals Series in Geelong which most definitely DID happen.
The WNBL still was the NWBL at that stage, with the WBC as its unofficial second division, champions Hobart and Canberra both eventually elevated and the Capitals still going strong today.
The WBC eventually was adopted by the SEABL.
In 1986 though in Geelong, it was all still one happy family, as the program illustrates.
