THE tip-off is brewing for Champions League Basketball's Aussie Summer Series Grand Final tomorrow at The Triangle in St Kilda, beside the iconic Palais Theatre on the beachside in Melbourne.

Two of Australian and NBL basketball's all-time great referees, Ray Hunt and Mal Cooper have jumped aboard to officiate, James Bowman will be looking after the live stream on behalf of Live Sport Australia, with Matt McQuade joined in commentary by his annual NBL Blitz partner Liam Santamaria.

It's a community event so it is free for spectators, another good reason to get along, each team with three games to show their bona fides, before Finals.

Perhaps most importantly though, especially now with 3on3 being considered as a sport for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, FIBA’s 3X3 Development Senior Associate Nicholas Widmer has granted CLB3X3 a full travelling invitation to a World Tour Qualifier in Asia.
